Bhojpuri star Khesari Lal Yadav is seen in difficulty. An FIR has been lodged against him for a bounced check of Rs 18 lakh. This FIR has been registered in Chhapra, Bihar. According to the news, in the month of June, Khesari Lal Yadav bought about 7 Katha of land in the Ashani village of Chapra in the name of his wife Chanda Devi for 22 lakh rupees.
Khesari bought this land from a man named Mrityunjay Pandey. To give Rs 22 lakh to Mrityunjay Pandey, he gave a check of Rs 18 lakh to the Bank of Baroda and promised to give the remaining amount in cash. When Mrityunjay reached the bank with the check, it bounced. According to sources, the check bounced due to insufficient balance in the account.
After the check bounced, Mrityunjay Pandey filed a fraud case against Khesari Lal Yadav at the police station. Now on these allegations, Khesari says that he has 70 lakh rupees in his account. But he deliberately withheld the payment of 18 lakh rupees to Mrityunjay Pandey.
Khesari said that Mrityunjay Pandey had talked about rejecting the filing of land before paying the amount. But even after 3 months, Mrityunjay could not get the filing rejected in his name. According to Khesari, he suspects that this land may be disputed and hence he stopped the Bank of Baroda from clearing the check for Rs 18 lakh.
