Akshay Kumar’s Mission Mangal and John Abraham’s Batla House got tremendous benefit from Janmashtami. On the second weekend, Mission Mangal is set to become the fourth highest-grossing film of 2019. At the same time, John Abraham’s Batla House has made a collection in excess of expectations in terms of earnings.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the box office collections of both the films Mission Mangal and Batla House. According to the data shared by Taran Adarsh, Mission Mangal has collected 149.31 crores in 10 days. This is the second week of the film. Mission Mars broke Johnny LLB 2’s record in seven days.
Mission Mangal is just a few steps away from coming at number four in the list of the highest-grossing film. Above Mission Mangal are Kabir Singh, Uri, Bharat and Kesari respectively. Taran has expressed the hope that the film will drop to number four, leaving Kesari behind on Sunday.
Mission Mangal, directed by Jagan Shakti, also stars Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Sonakshi Sinha, Nitya Menon, Sharman Joshi, HG Dattatreya in addition to Akshay Kumar.
The film Batla House, directed by director Nikhil Advani, has also done good business in ten days. Last week, trade experts were expecting that Batla House would earn at least 64 crores in two weeks. But the film has surpassed expectations with a tremendous collection of 76.57 crores.

The film is based on the story of the 2008 Batla House encounter in Jamia Nagar area of Delhi. The film stars Mr Abraham with Mrinal Thakur and Ravi Kishan.
